New Partnership to Support Families in Need

Pete’s Pantry at St Peter’s Church is pleased to announce a new partnership with Somebody’s Child, strengthening support for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our community.

 Through this partnership, Somebody’s Child will provide funding support and volunteer involvement to help sustain and grow the work of Pete’s Pantry, ensuring reliable access to essential food supplies in a welcoming and respectful environment.

Terry Zimsen, Director of Somebody’s Child, said: “Partnering with Pete’s Pantry allows us to support a trusted local initiative that is making a real difference in people’s lives.”

The Reverend Keerthi Fernando, Vicar of St Peter’s Church, added: “This partnership will help ensure that we can continue to serve our community with consistency, care, and dignity.”

Community members are encouraged to support the initiative through volunteering, donations, or simply by helping spread awareness.
